How it started. How it's going.
T.A.A.G was founded and registered with Revenue Canada in 1986-07-01 by a group of five incredible women; Marg Macreath, Gladys Bennett, Betty Breed, Eleanor Dunn and Christa Dilanzo, Christa Dilanzo was the last member of the original five who unfortunately passed away on Saturday June 26, 2010. These five incredible women dedicated their lives to the hungry, misfortunate, homeless, stranded and abused animals. They spent many hours a day fixing and building old doghouses into new to resell, organized bake sales and raffles to help the animals. Since the passing of Christa, Cheryl Alberta has been the president and is continuing their mission of helping animals and responsible pet ownership within the community.
You can make a difference for these animals that have no choice about their living situations.

Become the One Who is Considered a Hero
T.A.A.G is always looking for volunteers to help the organization. We often do fundraising such as our annual garage sale and selling tickets for different draws we host throughout the year. If we didn’t have our amazing volunteers we wouldn’t be able to help all these less fortunate animals.
